Hesketh Golf Club

In July 2008 Hesketh Golf Club hosted the R&A Junior Open Championship.

It was attended by 110 children from 70 countries and opened by Padraig Harrington the Open Champion who went on to become the Champion Golfer of 2008 at Royal Birkdale later that week.
